NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- More than 100 workers were evacuated from a building in Long Island City after its top floor started to crack on Monday, the FDNY said.
Firefighters responded to the six-story building at 45-18 Court Square around 12:40 p.m. on Monday to inspect a “large crack” on its top floor, the department said.
Approximately 125 workers were evacuated from the building, which was under construction at the time, the FDNY said. An adjacent building was also evacuated.
