STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Firefighters made quick work of an “all hands” shed fire in Rosebank late Friday afternoon.

A spokesman for the FDNY said the blaze broke out just before 4:30 p.m. in a shed behind a Reynolds Street home, and firefighters brought the blaze under control by 4:45 p.m. It did not appear that the fire had spread to any other buildings.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, according to the FDNY spokesman. Approximately 60 FDNY personnel were called to the scene as a result of the “all hands” call.

Narrow Reynolds Street was blocked off for the duration of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
