This baby caught a lucky break Saturday when firefighters carried him to safety after a four-alarm blaze in his Lenox Hill apartment.

The fire erupted around 12:54 p.m. in the basement and first floor of the five-story apartment building at 423 E. 70th Street, according to the FDNY.

Engine 39 and Ladder 13 responded, getting the fire under control at around 3:30 p.m., officials said.

Three minor injuries were reported, including one firefighter who was transported to New York Hospital.

A second patient was taken to NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in Manhattan, while the third declined medical attention.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The incident was one of two multiple-alarm fires the FDNY battled Saturday.

One person died in the Bronx later Saturday evening when a fire broke out in the third floor of a Wakefield nursing home.
