60 Evacuated from Queens Apartment Building in Carbon Monoxide Situation: FDNY

FLUSHING, Queens — Dozens of residents were evacuated from a Queens apartment building Sunday afternoon when emergency units responded to a carbon monoxide alarm, the FDNY said.

According to authorities the call came in just before 1 p.m. for the alarm going off in an apartment on 35th Avenue near Farrington Street in Downtown Flushing.

The FDNY said 60 people were evacuated from the building as crews investigated the situation.

There are no injuries reported at this time.
