WOODSIDE, QUEENS — Two people were hospitalized after a ride-share driver jumped the curb and crashed in Woodside Monday afternoon, according to the FDNY and video posted to the Citizen app.

The crash happened by the intersection of Woodside Avenue and 61st Street just before 1:30 p.m., a Fire Department spokesperson said.

The car involved in the crash is a licensed for-hire vehicle, according to city records, but it wasn't immediately clear whether the driver had a customer in the car at the time of the crash.

An Uber spokesperson confirmed that the driver involved in the crash works for the ride-share company but said they didn't have any record of him doing any Uber trips Monday.
