A fire erupted Monday night at the lower Manhattan site of a future Google campus, officials said.

The inferno broke out on the roof of the commercial building at 550 Washington Street in Hudson Square at about 6 p.m., according to FDNY.

It took just 20 minutes for firefighters to put out the two-alarm blaze.

Six firefighters suffered minor injuries and were treated at area hospitals, authorities said.

Google last month secured their lease to house part of their forthcoming Google Hudson Square campus at the four-story building.
