A trash can went up in flames around noon in the Duane Reade lot near the corner of Dyckman Street and Post Avenue in Manhattan, an FDNY spokesman said.

The video shows firefighters putting out the blaze, which erupted behind a parked white van.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.

No injuries were reported, the spokesman said.
