UFANYC.org - June 06, 2019As previously stated, the UFA will provide bus transportation to and from Washington, DC, as well as to and from Albany for both Lobby Days. In order to ensure that the appropriate number of buses are arranged, delegates should submit a headcount of their members that will need bus transportation to their respective Trustees, or to Nellie Featherstone at (646) 839-6506. Please note that the deadline for bus transportation requests for both Lobby Days is Friday, June 7, at 12:00 PM. Delegates should submit number of members attending and number of members requesting transportation as soon as possible.
ALBANY LOBBY DAY – WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12 Bus pickup locations, the day's agenda and talking points will be posted ASAP. Members should contact Nellie Featherstone at (646) 839-6506 with volunteer and bus transportation headcounts for UFA Albany Lobby Day as soon as possible.

WASHINGTON, DC LOBBY DAY – TUESDAY, JUNE 11 The UFA and UFOA Executive Boards ask for your support in our Nation's Capital as we call on Congress to enact the Never Forget the Heroes: Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act (/ ) sponsored by Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Bus transportation will be provided for both UFA and UFOA members leaving from Randall's Island at 5:00 AM sharp. Members not taking the bus should arrive in DC around 9:30 AM. The hearing will be in Main Judiciary Hearing Room, 2141 Rayburn House Office Building, between 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Members taking the bus should expect to be back in NY around 6:00 PM. Due to limited space inside the Committees Chambers, we are asking that any members contact their respected Unions.
