STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A firefighter was taken to the hospital following a house fire in Concord early on Wednesday morning.
The firefighter who suffered minor injuries was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.
The blaze was called at about 1:01 a.m. for the first floor of a two-story, 20-by-40 foot house at 584 Oder Ave., according to the spokesman.
About 12 units and over 60 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the “all-hands” fire that was brought under control at about 1:40 a.m., the spokesman said.
