Julio Salcedo Contrer was brought to New York City after he waived extradition from New Jersey at an appearance on Thursday. The 34-year-old was arrested in Cliffside Park on a fugitive warrant on Tuesday. He was wanted for questioning in the blast that killed Chief Michael Fahy.
As he was walked into the station, firefighters in full gear stood steely-eyed and yelled at the man. At least one said "I hope you burn in hell."
