17 Injured after School Bus Crashes into Building

by Antonio AntenuciThirteen children were injured when a school bus crashed into a building in Queens Thursday evening, authorities said.
The bus crashed into a wall next to Pizza Boy II on 59th Street near Woodside Avenue at approximately 5 p.m., FDNY officials said.
“I can feel it, [the store] was shaking,” said Soon Kim, 56, owner of Fiesta Cards & Gifts next door to where the accident happened.
FDNY officials said the children, along with four adults, were taken Elmhurst Hospital with non-serious injuries.
It was not clear how the crash happened but police don’t suspect any criminality on the part of the bus driver.
