Firefighter Injured In Astoria Blaze Fire marshals are investigating the cause of a stubborn, “All-Hands” blaze at an Astoria apartment building that sent one firefighter to a local hospital on April 30th.

Firefighters responded to the blaze in a top-floor apartment at the three-story building at 25-27 35th Street at about 10:26 a.m. on April 30th, according to an FDNY spokesperson. The fire was brought under control at 11:13 a.m., fire officials said.

No residents were injured in the blaze. One firefighter was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
