1. 5th Annual Captain Paddy Brown (L-3) Memorial Fundraiser
REMINDER: On Saturday, November 6th from 2-6pm at Eleanor Rigby's located at 133 Mineola Blvd. Donations: $50 includes food, beverages, and T-shirt. Proceeds to benefit Building Homes for Heroes. Building Homes for Heroes provides individuals, corporations and others with an opportunity to help our severely wounded and disabled veterans and their families rebuild their lives. 2. Capt. John Drennan (L-5) & Marine 1st Lt. Nicholas Lia Memorial Football Game
REMINDER: On Saturday, November 6th at 7pm the 1st annual memorial football game honoring the memory of Captain John Drennan, L-5 and Marine 1st Lt. Nicholas Lia, will be held. The game will be played at Tottenville HS, 100 Luten Avenue, Staten Island, NY. Tottenville and Curtis high schools will play each other. Tickets: $5. Proceeds will benefit the Tottenville and Curtis HS football programs. For further info call 718-356-2220.


3. Holy Name Society Annual Memorial Mass
REMINDER: On Sunday, November 7th, at 9:30am, the Holy Name Society (Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island) Annual Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 125 West 31st Street, Manhattan (across the street from E-1/L-24). All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect for the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.


4. FDNY Photo Exhibition at NYC Fire Museum
On Thursday, November 11th from 6-9pm the New York City Fire Museumwill host a reception for selections from "On the Job," a photographic exhibition by Lilli Albin. This exhibit focuses on the areas within New York City's firehouses. Admission: FREE. The New York City Fire Museum is located in a 1904 firehouse at 278 Spring Street (between Hudson & Varick Streets). It is the official museum of the FDNY and houses over 10,000 artifacts from New York City's rich heritage of firefighting. For more info call 212-691-1303 ext. 17.


5. Discounted Broadway Theater Tickets
