MYFOXNY.COM - A major fire in Staten Island yielded, luckily, only minor injuries for six firefighters on Sunday morning.
The three-alarm fire was at 62 Taylor Street in West Brighton.
The fire broke out in the two-and-a-half story dwelling at about 6:30 a.m. and spread to 1748-50 Richmond Terrace. It was under control at 7:54 a.m.
Four of the firefighters were taken to Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, and one was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, West Brighton.
No civilians were injured.
