The Department has recently begun distributing medical training surveys for members to fill out, listing their certification levels of emergency medical training. The Department is bypassing the UFA in communicating with the members and may be in violation of the Taylor Law. This is a clear violation of the collective bargaining process. Accordingly, we request that all members DO NOT RESPOND to any questionnaires regarding your emergency medical training levels.
MEMBERS CANNOT BE ORDERED TO FILL OUT THE SURVEY. If an officer chooses to give you a direct order, immediately contact the UFA at 212-683-4832 and ask for the Trustee-of-the-Day.
