2. 8th Annual BC Matthew Ryan Memorial Golf Outing
REMINDER: On Tuesday, September 14th the 8th Annual BC Matthew Ryan Memorial Golf Outing will be held, at the Holbrook Country Club, Holbrook, Long Island, NY. Sign-In: 9am, Shotgun Start: 10 am. 3. Lt. John Martinson (E-249) Memorial Picnic
REMINDER: On Saturday, September 18th (Rain or Shine) from 12-6pm at the Hillside Swim Club, located at 151 Signs Rd., Staten Island the Lt. John Martinson Memorial Picnic will be held. Tickets: $50 for adults, $20 for children 13-20 yrs old, kids 12 and under FREE. Picnic includes live music, rides, and games. 4. FDNY vs. NYPD Boxing Battle of the Badges
On Friday, October 1st, at 8pm at the Theater at Madison Square GardenTheater at Madison Square Garden (MSG) New York's Bravest Boxing will take on New York's Fighting Finest in the "Battle of the Badges." 5. 2010 UFA Scholarship Fund Application-Available NOW!!!
Applicants must currently be enrolled in college, trade or vocational school. This scholarship is for dependent children of active, retired or deceased Firefighters, Fire Marshals or Marine Wipers who are full-time students up to & including age 23 for undergraduate education. Dependent children, spouses of LOD deceased UFA members, & dependent children of non-LOD deceased UFA members are eligible to receive scholarships for undergraduate but must still fill out an application & provide proof of enrollment.
