Firefighter Thomas Brick College Scholarships
The FDNY is now accepting applications for this year's Firefighter Thomas Brick Scholarships, which are named to honor the fallen firefighter and are funded by the family of Salvatore Bommarito in appreciation for the courageous public service provided by New York City Firefighters. Scholarships are available to all active FDNY Fire Officers and Firefighters. Four scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded for the 2005-06 academic year. To apply, complete the attached application and return to Chief of Operations, Salvatore J. The 6th Annual NY's Bravest Night of Comedy

FDNY Soccer Team Exhibition Game
The FDNY Soccer Team will be hosting the Somerset Fire Brigade in an exhibition game on Saturday, April 9th, 2005. The game will be played at Hofstra University Soccer Stadium. Game time is 5:00 pm. The Somerset Fire Brigade Football Club are from Southwest, England and this is the second time that the teams will meet. The FD hosted Somerset in 2003 and the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Admission to the game is free. Come out and support your team!!!  The FDNY game will be followed at 7:00pm by a match between Hoftsta University vs. the Long Island Rough Riders. Great night for the Family.
