CBS’s Ira Joe Fischer has invited our members to appear on the CBS Morning Show tomorrow (Saturday, May 21) at 7:30am wearing FDNY shirts and/or hats to promote NYC's Bid as host to the 2011 World Police & Fire Games. 10,000 to 15,000 athletes participate every two years from over 70 countries. The theme of the 2011 Games, which is proposed to take place during the two weeks immediately prior to the WTC 10 year anniversary, will be "Remembrance of those lost on 9-11 and to thank all Departments who were there for us".
