1. NY Sportstimes Tennis
On Monday, July 5th at 7pm the New York Sportimes welcomes FDNY members to watch world team tennis at the Sportimes Stadium at Randall's Island. Bring FDNY ID and receive FREE admission. 2. FDNY Anchor Club Frances Schervier Picnic
REMINDER: On Thursday, July 8th at 10am at the Anchor Club, FDNY, will host a picnic for the patients at Frances Schervier Nursing Home, located at 2975 Independence Avenue, Bronx, NY. All off-duty members are invited to attend and assist the Anchor Club in moving the patients and serving them refreshments. Members are welcome to bring their families. 3. FF Marty Simmons Memorial Beach BBQ
On Wednesday, July 21st from 6-10 pm, the 2nd Annual FF Marty Simmons Memorial Beach BBQ will be held at Sunken Meadow Pavilion, Kings Park, NY. The event will feature music, food, and unlimited beverages. Tickets are $55 per adult; $47 (age 13-20) and $25 per child (age 6-12). All proceeds to benefit the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation and Smithtown Youth Programs. Payment on the night of the event will be accepted, however early registration is preferred.

4. 33rd Annual Police/Fire 5-Mile Run
On Saturday, July 24th, at 9am, the 33rd Annual Police/Fire Run will be held in Central Park. All active and retired members are eligible to participate (guests may run, but without a number). Race starts at East 103rd Street in Central Park. Registration is at P.S. 171 located at East 103rd Street (btwn 5th & Madison Avenues). Registration: $20. 5. 9th Annual Lt. Steve "Hangdown" Harrell Memorial Jam
Sunday, August 8th, 12 noon-6pm, at Nansen's Lodge in Staten Island located at 3465 Victory Blvd. A great day of family, music, and friends to honor a Brother who gave his life on 9/11 presented by E-255/L-157. Donations: $50 for adults, $20 for children ages 6-14, kids under 6 are FREE. Includes live bands, children's activities, food, refreshments and raffles.
