   FDNY Memorial Day is on Wed. Oct. 12th, not Oct. 5th. Members are to adjust calendars accordingly.
   
   
2. Coney Island Astroland - Union Discount Day
   Astroland, Coney Island hosting “Union Day” Sun. August 28th. Admission bracelets for UFA members and families are $10.99, down from $22. Bracelet incl. unlimited rides from Noon to 4 PM, including the world famous Cyclone. Limited to the first 1000 bracelets purchased. 3. Free Cruise for Military Vets and Families
   Owners of the Dinner Cruise Ship “River Rose” are offering a free cruise to members of the FDNY who have served in the military and their families. Open invitation to all Vietnam, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom Vets. Evening of Saturday Sept. 10, 2005. Includes dinner buffet, beer, wine & soda, plus DJ. Ship is located at the World’s Fair Marina (behind Shea Stadium) and will board at 5 PM to return at 9:30.
