1. 125th Anniversary Celebration E-219
   Thurs. Dec 1 at 1300 hours, Engine 219 will be celebrating its 125th year of service.  An anniversary ceremony will be held in quarters located at 494 Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY.  A collation will follow.  All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend.  Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
   
   
2. Engeldrum Plaque Dedication
   Friday Dec. 2nd @1130 hours a plaque dedication in memory of FF Christian P. Engeldrum will take place at the quarters of Engine Co. 66 / Ladder Co. 61, 21 Asch Loop West, Bronx.  All off duty members are asked to attend..
   
   
3. CSU “Kids Connections” Volunteers Needed
   Volunteers are needed to assist on Sat Dec. 3rd at the CSU “Kids Connections” holiday skating event at Wollman Rink in Central Park.  Volunteers will skate and assist the children and parents at the event which runs from 6-9 PM.  Anyone interested can contact Kim Ahearn at 212-570-1693 xt. 323
   
   
4. FDNY / New Orleans T-Shirts Now Available
   FDNY / NOFD Hurricane Katrina t-shirts are now available for purchase.  All proceeds above the cost of production will go to benefit the firefighters of New Orleans who have suffered severe losses as a result of the tragedy.  Cost of each shirt is $12 and firehouses should have received order forms already.  If not, please contact FF Andrew Dinkel, 718-965-8219 or FF Andy Voll, 718-965-8217
   
   
5. Operation Santa—Volunteers Needed
   The Community of Mayors will hold their annual "Operation Santa" at JFK Airport, Hanger 19 where 5000 handicapped children will meet Santa.  Volunteers are needed to set up tables, chairs, etc., on Dec. 6 at 9 am.  The party will be on December 7, 2005 from 8 am to 12 PM at the same location.   Members are requested to wear an FDNY garment.  For further information, contact Firefighter Vincent Tummino, B-22, at 718-494-4289.
