Active members may transfer to another City Health/Medical Plan or Add/Drop an Optional Rider. The transfer period for active Firefighters is from October 17, 2005 thru November 18, 2005. Late changes will not be accepted by the City!!! All active member changes will become effective the first day of the first full payroll period in January 2006. 2. Toys "R" Us Private Shopping

Toys "R" Us is inviting all employees of FDNY and their family members (when accompanied by FDNY-employee) to a private shopping event on Sun Nov. 20th from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. FDNY ID or paycheck stub will be required to attend the event. The following are the participating vendors:

3. Annual Turkey Trot

The 27th Annual Turkey Trot Run, sponsored by the Officers and Members of Engine 233 and Ladder 176 will be held on Nov 22 at 11:30 AM in Flushing Meadows Park at the Avery Avenue Exit. The 3.1 mile race helps raise funds for charitable causes that benefit the members of the New York City Fire Department. $20 fee incl. the race, a long sleeve
t-shirt, food and beverages. Entrance forms have been mailed to all Companies. For questions or additional entrance forms please call Engine 233 Ladder 176 at 718-965-8233.
