September 11th Memorial Service at FF Monument

On Thursday, September 11th, 2008, there will be a number of services through the city to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center.

The Companies of the 18th Battalion will be hosting the 7th Annual Memorial Service at the Firefighters Memorial Monument on Riverside Drive & 100th St., Upper West Side, Manhattan. All members and their families are welcome to attend the service to honor our 343 brothers.

9:30 - Members Assemble
9:53 - Members Form at Attention
9:54 - Opening Prayer & Star Spangled Banner
9:59 - Moment of Silence
10:00 - Roll Call of the Names of our 343 Brothers who made the Supreme Sacrifice in the performance of their Duty at Manhattan Box 8087
10:29 - Moment of Silence
10:30 - Continuation of Roll Call, followed by the Placing of the Wreath & Closing Prayer
12:15 - Mass at St. John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Ave. (at 112th St.) Map

  • There will be parking on Riverside Drive between 94th St. & 104th St.
