Blaze Kin In Safety Rally

NY Post

The families of two firefighters killed in last year's Deutsche Bank Building blaze rallied near the site of the tragedy in lower Manhattan yesterday to call for increased safety at city construction sites.

"It's been really tough, really emotional being back here for the first time since the fire," a stoic Joe Graffagnino said of visiting the place where his firefighter son died in the blaze on Aug. 18 of last year.

Firefighters Joseph Graffagnino and Bobby Beddia died while trapped in a fire at the abandoned tower, which was being taken down.
