1. FF Thomas Brick College Scholarships
REMINDER: The FF Thomas Brick Scholarships are available to all active FDNY Officers & Firefighters. Six (6) scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded for the 2008-2009 academic year. To apply, complete & return an application to Chief of Department, Salvatore Cassano, by May 2nd. 2. 2011 World Police Fire Games (WPFG) & "Men's Fitness" Ultimate Athlete
Sunday May 4th, 2008, 12-5pm, at Wollman Rink in Central Park. This event is one of the first of a series of promotional events leading up to the 2011 WPFG games that will be held in NYC. The 2011 WPFG & Men's Fitness magazine invite you to compete in a series of athletic events-basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, football, soccer, volleyball and more-the person with the top combined score wins. The Ultimate PO & FF will receive special awards and be featured in an upcoming issue of Men's Fitness. No Pre-registration. Admission is free. Enter through VIP 2011 WPFG Entrance with ID to avoid long lines. The overall winner receives the GRAND PRIZE: 2008 Hummer H3! 3. FDNY CSU LODD Monthly Meeting for Fathers & Brothers
Tuesday, May 6th from 12:30-2pm at 251 Lafayette St., 2nd floor conference room. Open to brothers who lost siblings in the line of duty and fathers who lost sons in the line of duty. 4. 10 Year Reunion: Probie Class 1 of 1998
On Thursday, May 8th, at 7pm, the Copper Door on Third Ave & 21st St, there will be a 10 year reunion for Probie class 1 of 1998. It is open to anyone who graduated from that class or the instructors who taught it. For more info contact FF Brian Finley (L-7), 917-554-4594.
5. Discount NY Mets Tickets for FDNY (Additional dates)
