3 Injured, One Seriously, in East Harlem Fire

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man is in serious condition after a fire forced him to jump from a third floor window in East Harlem Wednesday night.

Fire officials say the flames erupted from a third floor apartment at a six-story building at 250 E. 105th Street shortly before 9 p.m.

The man was seriously burned before leaping and two others were also injured in the fire.

All three victims were taken to the burn unit at Weill Cornell Hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
