REMINDER: Saturday, April 12th, 4-9pm at the Bellmore Volunteer Fire House located at 230 Pettit Ave, Bellmore, NY. Sean is currently fighting an aggressive form of melanoma. 4. 31st Annual Police/Fire 5-Mile Run
REMINDER: Sunday, April 13th at 9:45am in Central Park. Active & retired members can participate. The race starts at 72nd St & Central Park Drive. 6. Fire Bell Club Scholarship Award Application
Active Firefighters 5th Grade and above, and Fire Officers who have been accepted or are attending an accredited institution of higher learning are eligible. FF's/Fire Officers who are pursuing a degree in Fire Service Administration, Public Service Management, Nursing or a related Fire Service discipline and who have completed a minimum of twelve credits are also eligible. Preference will be given to members who have fewer than (5) years of service. A written statement of 500 words explaining why an applicant should be considered for the award must be submitted.
