Brooklyn Man Dies In Fire

A 70-year-old man was killed in a fire in his Brooklyn apartment Monday night, police and fire officials said.

The blaze broke out about 8p.m. in the victim's Bay Ridge apartment, firefighters said. The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he died. Police do not believe the fire was set intentionally.
