Firefighters responding to a Bronx blaze found a man shot to death inside the building Saturday night, a fire official said.
The victim was lying faceup in the lobby of an eight-story brick building in the Eastchester Gardens complex on Adee Ave., officials said. His name was not immediately released.
The blaze, which broke out about 11:30 p.m., was confined to the first floor.
Police said the fire and the shooting appeared to be related.
Detectives were investigating the incident.
