Bronx Apartment Building Blaze Injures Dozens

BRONX (AP) - Dozens of people have been injured in a fire at a 21-story Bronx apartment building.

A fire official says 26 people were injured in the blaze late Sunday afternoon at the building on Boston Road in the Bronxdale neighborhood.

Most of the injuries were minor, but the fire official said one person was taken in cardiac arrest to a local hospital.

Eleven firefighters were among those injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
