A 52-year-old jilted lover was arrested yesterday after he torched his ex-girlfriend's Brooklyn brownstone, seriously injuring her in a blaze that took nearly two hours to control, fire marshals said.

Charles Norbet allegedly poured gasoline in three places in his former paramour's home at 744 Lafayette Ave. at 12:46 a.m. Monday after she refused to take him back.

Sources said Norbet ignited a trio of fires: at the front door, in the living room and in the kitchen. The fast-moving blaze singed his feet as flames quickly engulfed several floors of the structure.

His victim managed to get out of the building before firefighters arrived. She suffered burns over 35 percent of her body.

She was taken to the burn unit at Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, where she was in stable condition.

Fire marshals tracked Norbet down to another female pal's pad late Monday, when he was arrested and charged with arson and attempted murder.
