NEW YORK (AP) Six people, including four firefighters, were injured Friday in a fire at an Upper West Side hotel that led to the evacuation of the 16-story building, a fire department spokesman said. Firefighters were called to the Riverside Tower Hotel at about 2:15 p.m., said fire spokesman Kevin Nolan. The blaze was under control about an hour and a half later, he said. Two civilians were taken to different hospitals, one in cardiac arrest, Nolan said. Four firefighters suffered minor injuries. The cause of the fire was under investigation, Nolan said. It was not immediately clear when people would be allowed to return to the building. Calls to phone numbers listed for the hotel, at 80 Riverside Drive, were met with busy signals early Friday night.
