FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — A yellow cab burst into flames in the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel, shuttering its Brooklyn-bound lanes Wednesday afternoon, FDNY said.

Firefighters rushed to the scene at 12:13 p.m. and have since extinguished the blaze. No injuries have been reported, an FDNY spokesman said.

One person was killed in a massive car fire on the Brooklyn Bridge Wednesday morning after flames erupted during a four car pile-up, authorities said.
