STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A car overturned in Great Kills on Sunday afternoon after a collision with a wedding limo.

One person was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze after the incident, which occurred around 3:44 p.m. near the intersection of Amboy and Lindenwood roads, a spokesman for the FDNY said. He could not say what condition the individual was in.

No one was in the white luxury vehicle parked outside the Coptic Orthodox Church of ArchAngel Michael and Saint Mena at 4095 Amboy Road. Several people said a wedding was going on inside the church.

NYPD Emergency Service Units were called to the scene to help right the overturned white Lexus sedan.
