RALLY 'ROUND ROBO
John Robilotti of Engine 243 has been part of the 18th Avenue family, protecting the Bath Beach/Bensonhurst community, for the past 14 years. Unfortunately, John was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer in August. He is currently fighting his illness through chemotherapy and surgery. The members of John's firehouse are hosting a fundraiser to show support for a brother in need. "The 18th Ave Crew" - ENG243, LAD168 & BN 42 - invite you to join on Saturday, November 10, from 1pm - 8pm, for the Rally 'Round Robo. Admission is $60 and includes beer, wine and soda, food, live entertainment, free mug, free raffle ticket, bracelet and games. Children 14 and under are free. LT. JOSEPH P. DIBERNARDO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION SEMINAR
In honor and memory of Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo, R-3, the foundation presents the annual training seminar on November 3-4, 2018. Hands On training will be conducted at the Suffolk County Fire Academy, Pine Street, Yaphank, NY. Classroom training will be conducted at R.C. Murphy Junior High School, . 50TH REUNION OF ALL PROBIE CLASSES OF 1968
New York Retired Firefighters of Orange County Retired Lieutenant Ralph Quaglia and Retired Chief Nick Visconti are planning the 50th reunion of all probie classes of 1968. The event will be held at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on December 3rd and 4th.
