On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 1100 hours, a Memorial Service will be held for deceased members of the Fire Department at the Firemen's Monument, 100th Street and Riverside Drive, Manhattan. Members who made the supreme sacrifice while in the performance of duty, as well as active members who have died in the last year will be honored.

The Officers and Firefighters of E-16/L-7 cordially invite all current and former members along with their families to attend the annual 23rd Street Fire Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 20, 2018. The Mass will be held at the Chapel of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, 325 East 33 Street, Manhattan, at 11:00 AM, with luncheon to follow. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform. The Steuben Association will hold its annual Oktoberfest Dance at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant, 1132 Hempstead Tpke, Franklin Square, NY 11010. Friends of Firefighters invites you to attend their 11th Annual Fall Gala on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at 7:00 PM, at Pioneer Works, 159 Pioneer St, Brooklyn, NY 11231. Join them in honoring those who have made significant contributions to the FoF community this year, including the UFA, Warren Fuchs, FDNY Engine 202/Ladder 101, Jimmy Hayhurst, George Scocca, Eileen Levine, Firefighter Kievon Harper, and Lt. Patrick O'Grady. Hosted by members of Engine 202/Ladder 101, this legendary event will feature an outstanding buffet of firefighter-prepared dishes, beer and wine, raffle prizes, auction items and photo booth fun. They'll be turning up the celebration with FDNY Emerald Society Pipes & Drums, DJ Mouse and live music from The Russo Brothers, so wear your dancing shoes! Plus, Steve Buscemi will be in the house! Tickets are $100 per person. All monies raised go directly to the continuation of their free mental health counseling program and wellness services for FDNY firefighters, active and retired, and their families.
