SEPTEMBER 11TH MEMORIAL SERVICE AT FDNY HEADQUARTERS
On Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 1400 hours, a Memorial Service will be held in the Auditorium of in remembrance of the members of Fire Headquarters who made the Supreme Sacrifice on 9/11/01. A wreath will be laid at the Memorial Wall, and flowers will be placed by the plaques honoring Chief of Department Peter Ganci, First Deputy Commissioner William Feehan, and Assistant Chiefs Donald Burns and Gerard Barbara.
2018 WEST INDIAN DAY PARADE
Permission is granted for off-duty members to participate in the 2018 West Indian Day Parade on Monday, September 3, 2018. Participating members of the Department should assemble on at 1000 hours. The NYC Fire Museum plans to host a Blood Drive on Thursday, September 6th, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Museum is located at in Manhattan. In accordance with NYC Blood Center requirements, donors must be between the ages of 16-76, be feeling well, be a minimum weight of 110 lbs., and have not received a tattoo in the past 12 months. Forms for compensatory time will be available at the Museum on the day of the Drive.
STEUBEN DAY PARADE
Permission is granted to off-duty members of the Department to participate in the annual Steuben Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday, September 15, 2018. Members participating shall wear dress uniform.

FDNY HOCKEY TEAM TRYOUTS
