FDNY/MARINE CORPS ASSOCIATION BIG BUCKS CASH BONANZA RAFFLE
The FDNY/Marine Corps Association will be holding a Big Bucks Cash Bonanza Raffle this year in an effort to raise money for their Memorial Fund. They will be selling 1,000 raffle tickets at $100 each, raising a total of $100,000 and giving out $50,000 in prizes. There will be 18 winners ranging from $500 to a Grand Prize of $25,000. The drawing will be held on September 22nd, during a BBQ at the Sunrise Detachment of the Marine Corps League in Massapequa. All ticket holders, plus one guest, are invited to a free BBQ with cash bar. Winner does not have to be present. The tickets are first come, first serve. MEMORIAL MASS
On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 0900 hours, a Memorial Mass will be held honoring the memory of Firefighter Michael J. Gorumba, E-163, who made the supreme sacrifice on August 28, 2001. The mass will take place at Holy Family Church located at 366 Watchogue Road, Staten Island, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.


PLAQUE DEDICATION
On Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 1100 hours, a Line of Duty Death Plaque Dedication Ceremony will be held honoring the memory of Deputy Chief Michael J. Fahy, Battalion 19. The dedication will take place in the Quarters of Battalion 19, Engine 75 & Ladder 33, 2175 Walton Avenue, Bronx, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.


ELSASSER ONE PITCH TOURNAMENT
The Elsasser One Pitch Tournament hosted by Engine 221/Ladder 104 will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018, beginning at 9:30 AM in Cunningham Park, Queens, 73rd Ave between Clearview Expwy and Francis Lewis Blvd.. Registration is on a first come, first served basis, so register your team ASAP, as this is a limited tournament. There is NO registration the day of the tournament. The cost is $350 per team. Food, soda, water and Gatorade will be served. All proceeds go to the families of deceased NYC Firefighters and Fire Officers who died non-line of duty.
