SOUTH RICHMOND HILL, QUEENS -- More than 100 firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze that ripped through a Southeast Queens flower shop Monday afternoon, fire officials said.

Firefighters were called to Jasmin's Florist & Hall Decorators in South Richmond Hill at about 1:15 p.m. after flames broke out in the basement of the building on Liberty Avenue near 114th Street, an FDNY spokesman said.

No injuries were reported from the inferno, which was put under control just before 2:30 p.m., fire officials said.

The extend of damage to the three-story building wasn't immediately clear, but an FDNY spokesman said it took roughly 106 firefighters to put out the fire.

A fire marshal will determine the cause of the blaze.
