Bravest head South in 'Louisiana' truck

by the people of Louisiana after 9/11 left for New Orleans yesterday.

It was accompanied by 25 of New York's Bravest, a fleet of SUVs, supply trucks and a Mobile Command Center unit.

"We are very thankful for the opportunity to repay all the emotional, spiritual and financial support that the people of Louisiana gave us after 9/11," said FDNY Chief Peter Hayden.
