A construction worker at a church in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, fell two stories onto a sidewalk shed Monday, leaving him in critical condition, authorities said Monday.

The worker, whose name was not released, fell from the roof of Trinity Grace Church on Ainslie St. around 2 p.m., according to authorities.

“He was in pretty rough shape. It looked like he was bleeding from the mouth,” said Josh B., who declined to give his full name.

The worker was removed from the roof of the sidewalk shed and rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, a Fire Department spokesman said.

Josh B., who lives across the street from the church, said he’d complained to 311 recently about the work site.

“We’ve all been looking at this every day, we just didn’t trust the conditions of it,” the 34-year-old said.

The company at the site, 4M Construction, did not return calls.
