9/11 MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB INSIDE MSG RESCHEDULED
The Stair Climb was rescheduled in order to pay our respects at the funeral of FDNY Lieutenant Raguso on Saturday, March 31, 2018, in Kings Park, Long Island.
The event is only open to 343 participants, so be sure to register as soon as possible. As of Monday, April 2, there are 108 spots still available.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the UFA will join the NY Knicks on Saturday, April 7th, at Madison Square Garden. Registration and check-in will open at 7:00 AM with the Opening Ceremony beginning at 7:45 AM. Climb start time is 8:00 AM finishing by 9:30 AM. Participants will climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center to honor the 343 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The climb will begin on the court, wrap around the arena twice and end back on the court.
Registration costs $50 and includes a 343 honor badge, a t-shirt and entrance for up to 3 guests. To register, please visit. The climb will benefit the UFA Widows and Children's Fund, the FDNY Counseling Services Unit, and programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
KNICKS 9/11 MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Stair Climb has been rescheduled for this Saturday, April 7th, 2018. The UFA is looking for 25 members to assist the NFFF staff during this event. Members would have to report by 6:30 AM and stay until the climb finishes around 9:30-10:00 AM. Members volunteering would receive a ticket to the NY Knicks game that evening vs the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 PM. If interested, please email with your name, company and t-shirt size.
