MEMORIAL MASS
On Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 1000 hours, E-24/L-5/B-2 will have a memorial mass honoring the memory of Captain John J. Drennan, L-5, FF James F. Young, E-24, and FF Christopher J. Siedenburg, E-24, who made the supreme sacrifice on March 28, 1994. The mass will take place at St. Anthony's Church located at Sullivan and West Houston Streets, Manhattan. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.


FDNY CSU - SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT GROUP
The Counseling Service Unit of the FDNY, with the support of Captain Kananowicz (aka K9) from Engine 53, is running a monthly support group for members who have children or family members with special needs. Come together with other members who share similar challenges and exchange ideas and get support. The next group will be held on Wednesday, March 28th, from 11am - 12:30pm on Randall's Island, Building 11, Room 266. This month Stan Reimer, from the FDNY's Honor Emergency Fund, will visit for the last 30 minutes of the group to talk about how members might be able to benefit from the fund. PASSOVER SEDER EVENT
On Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Ner Tamid Society are hosting their second annual Seder to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover. Join for a full Seder meal provided by a reputable Glatt Kosher caterer in the Auditorium at 9 MetroTech. All members of the Department are welcome to attend. Note: All employees must seek permission from their immediate supervisor to attend. If the event is within one's normal work hours, the excused time must be charged to annual leave or comp time.
