Four firefighters were hurt as they tackled a blaze in a Brooklyn hoarder’s home Monday morning, an FDNY source said.
Battling the two-alarm fire, which erupted around 12:30 a.m. inside the Bedford-Stuyvesant brownstone along Jefferson Ave. near Malcolm X Blvd., proved difficult as smoke-eaters learned that the burning building was packed with debris, according to an official.
Then, a chunk of the building’s fiery facade collapsed onto a group of firefighters below, as seen in a video from ABC 7.
One of the firefighters was treated outside the three-story home, while three more were sent to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No residents were injured as they escaped the fire, authorities said.
