2 Dead, 10 Injured in Brooklyn Apartment Fire

DYKER HEIGHTS - At least two people have died and 10 others were injured after a fire inside of a Brooklyn building, the FDNY says.

The fire happened around 7 a.m. inside of 6709 11th Ave.

Seven people and 3 firefighters were injured in the blaze which started on the top floors of the building, according to the FDNY.

No working smoke alarms were found inside of the building, firefighters say.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause.
