Puerto Rico Deployment

This Hurricane season has brought Devastation to many parts of our great country. Some more significant than others and some more prepared to handle the situation than others. Similar to what happened in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina The Fire Department is requesting fire suppression support be deployed to The Island of Puerto Rico. Members must be prepared and available to be deployed for two Weeks, full duty and ready to be deployed when called.

Members are to contact their respective company officers if they are interested and available by this Sunday September 24, @1800. All names will be forwarded to Operations by Monday September 25 @1000.

The UFA wants to remind our members to remain vigilant if deployed. Entering such area's of devastation has associated hazards in addition to our already dangerous occupation.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Company Delegate and have them get in touch with their respective Trustees.
