Four Suffer Smoke Inhalation after Extinguishing Fire at Ferry Terminal

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Four people suffered from smoke inhalation after they extinguished a fire on a Staten Island ferry, which was under maintenance, spokesman for the FDNY said.

The incident happened in the engine room of an unidentified ferry at approximately 11:27 p.m., the spokesman said.

The four individuals were examined at the scene, and did not need to be transported to the hospital.
