Members who have not yet received ballots may pick up and submit a ballot in person at the American Arbitration Association (AAA) office, which is located at 1633 Broadway (c/o 50th St.), New York, NY 10019, during business hours. Call the AAA directly at (800) 529-5218, M-F 9am to 5pm for instructions if you plan to do this. You must present your FDNY ID card.
NOTE: Ballots were mailed to each member's residence by the AAA on Monday, April 30, and must be returned to the AAA by 9am on Thursday May 10. 65-2 #35, which is on the UFA website and was distributed to all FHs and Delegates on April 26th, instructed members who had not received a ballot by Thursday, May 3 to call the AAA directly at (800) 529-5218, M-F 9am to 5pm, for a replacement ballot to be placed in the mail on the same day they call.
Ballots will be counted by the AAA on May 10 with oversight of the Election Committee, which is comprised of one member representing each boro and the Recording Secretary. The results will be announced on that same day upon ballot count completion.
