Thanks to the support of the UFA & UFOA, the Muscular Dystrophy Association's 2nd Annual "Fill-the-Boot" is scheduled for 4 Thursdays this summer…your off-duty participation is needed!! Since 1954, firefighters throughout the country have raised millions of dollars in the fight against muscular dystrophy by asking passersby to donate spare change into their boots. This summer, we are hoping to show what NYC firefighters are capable of doing by raising thousands more in the greatest city by the best firefighters! All money raised for MDA will stay right here, funding research and providing services to New Yorkers with muscular dystrophy, including the relatives and children of many of your own members. Our success is dependent upon how many firefighters participate, so please spread the word!
July 19th & August 2nd - Times Square 3-8 p.m.
Meet at: Times Square Alliance Information Center
1560 7th Avenue (between 46th and 47th Streets)
July 26th & August 9th - Outside of Penn Station 3-8 p.m.
Meet at: Rig on 7th Avenue (between 31st & 33rd Streets)
Dress: class "A" shirts and work duty pants
