Firefighters rescue teens in rented boat

CBS 2

(New York-AP) -- Two firefighters rescued two teenagers who set out in a boat yesterday and didn't come back after nightfall.

Fire department spokesman Sean Johnson says the two boys rented a boat yesterday and were supposed to return it by four in the afternoon but still weren't back after 10 p-m.

The firefighters were just about to go off duty for the night when they got the call about the missing teens and jumped in a boat to join the search.

They found the boys at about 10:10 p-m.
